Prof. Ariel Horowitz, MD., MHA., is an expert of obstetrics, gynecology and fertility, with a sub-specialty in fertility and IVF. He is a full professor at the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine, and a colonel in reserve, having been the Chief Medical Officer at the HFC.
Prof. Horowitz leads fertility research and manages the fertility research lab at the Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center. He has published over 100 scientific articles, and received countless grants from national and international organizations.
In addition, he peer reviews medical and scientific publications, lectures at local and international professional conferences. He is a member of the exam team for obstetrics and gynecology interns, teaches interns at the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine, and advises on thesis for doctors, interns, and MA/PHD students.
Prof Horowitz won several prestigious fertility awards, among them the American Fertility Association Award (ASRM) and the Israel Fertility Research Association Award (ILA).
He was chosen to be on the Forbes Magazine Best Israeli Doctors list for 4 years straight in the gynecology category (2015 and 2016) and the fertility and IVF category (2017 and 2018).

Aviation medicine and medical administration
Prof. Shamiss is a graduate of the Technion American Medical School. He studied at the U.S. Navy School of Medicine and Space, and has an MPA in Public Administration from Harvard University. He specializes in internal medicine, hypertension, aviation medicine, and medical administration. Prof. Shamiss served in the Air Force and was discharged as Colonel in 2000. Since then he has held various key positions in Israeli medicine. He is a professor in the School of Medicine at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev. In addition, for the past decade, he has managed Sheba Tel Hashomer Medical Center, the largest hospital in Israel. For the past four years, he has served as CEO of Assuta, Israel’s leading private healthcare company.

Dr. Hendler studied at the Ben Gurion University Medical School. As soon as he graduated, he served a few years as a doctor at the IDF. Once he finished his service, he did his internship in gynecology and obstetrics at the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital. Dr. Hendler received the Sheba Outstanding Intern prize and the Israeli Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine prize. As an intern, he was also in charge of emergency medicine at the Sheba Medical Center, and served as a commander to a medicine company and regiment.After his internship, he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he did his maternal and fetal medicine fellowship at one of the world's leading faculties - Wayne State University.
He won many awards for his research during that time.Following his return to Israel, he managed the maternity admissions unit at Sheba Medical Center for over a decade. In 2016, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Sheba Medical Center. Today he is a senior doctor at the clinic and the At-Risk Pregnancy Department at Tel Hashomer, runs the gynecology and obstetrics internship program, and part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology management board.
In addition to his activity at the Sheba Medical Center, Dr. Hendler is also a senior professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Sackler School of Medicine in TAU. He continues publishing dozens of articles in leading medical journals, stays up-to-date with all the latest research, and takes active part in research studies and medical conferences in Israel and around the world.
